MasterChef Brasil is an brazilian competitive cooking reality show, open to amateur and home chefs based on the original British MasterChef. It is distributed by Shine Group, produced by Eyeworks and screens on TV Bandeirantes. The show is hosted by the journalist Ana Paula Padrão and the chefs Henrique Fogaça, Erick Jacquin and Paola Carosella judge the contestants. The first season premiered on 2 September 2014 and finished on 16 December of the same year. The winner was Elisa Fernandes, followed by Helena Manosso in second place and Luis Lima on third position. The second season premiered on 19 May 2015, this time with 18 contestants, two more than the first edition. The winner was Izabel Alvares, followed by Raul Lemos in second place and Jiang Pu on third position.
